Kate De Cent is a folk artist living and working in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland. The inspiration for her work comes from everything and anything connected with the East Coast. Apart from painting on wood and canvas, she also hooks rugs and knits. Her very popular Whale Tail Hats and Egg Cozies are for sale at Devon House in St.John's (Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador). This year she started working on a new project, painting furniture.
